Several high-profile players from Juventus and Manchester United have sent their well-wishes to former Bianconeri midfielder Paul Pogba, who officially left the club by mutual consent on Friday evening.

Pogba’s contract was terminated by mutual consent. The Frenchman is set to return to competitive action in the early stages of 2025 after missing the last 15 months through suspension following a failed doping test after a Serie A match against Udinese last August.

After leaving Juventus for the second time in his career, several Bianconeri players past and present sent Pogba messages wishing him well, including current centre-forward Dusan Vlahovic.

The Serbian wrote: “Love you Piochi, It was always a pleasure. Thanks for everything.”

His former Manchester United teammate Bruno Fernandes wrote: “Phenomenon as a player, but even more phenomenal as a person you are.”

Alex Sandro was also amongst the former Juventus players to leave a comment in Pogba’s farewell post on Instagram.

His agent, Raffaele Pinamenta also expressed her views in a comment on social media, writing: “So proud of you.”

The 31-year-old has several options ahead of his return to action in 2025, but current reports indicate he is most likely to remain in the USA, where he has been based for the last few months, in order to focus on an MLS move.
