Nottingham Forest ‘close’ to agreement for Arsenal striker
Nottingham Forest are close to reaching an agreement with Arsenal over striker Eddie Nketiah, according to a report in The Athletic.
An initial bid of £25m is said to have been rejected by the Gunners, with the asking price more in the region of between £30m and £35m.
Now the report suggests the two parties are closer on that valuation, and the player is also close to agreeing personal terms with Forest.
Nketiah joined the Arsenal youth system back in 2016, and quickly progressed into the first team in September 2017.
The 25-year-old has since netted 38 goals in 168 games, and spent a short spell on loan at Leeds United.
