Liverpool make second bid for Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili
Liverpool have already wrapped up a deal with Giorgi Mamardashvili on personal terms, with a deal agreed for a €4m net salary, and a long-term contract. The plan is for him to head to Bournemouth this season on loan, if a deal can be agreed with Valencia.
According to Relevo, Bournemouth are willing to contribute a €5m loan fee for Mamardashvili, Valencia and Liverpool would then sign a right-to-buy for 2025, and his move would be made permanent. Bournemouth are keen to get the deal wrapped up though, and have informed the other two that it must be completed swiftly, as they have started looking at altnernatives.
Liverpool had initialy made a €35m bid, consisting of €30m in a fixed fee rising a further €5m in variables. Their latest offer would make it to the €40m that Valencia had initially set out to bring in for him at the start of the summer. The increase is only in variables though, and Valencia are yet to respond.
