Leigh Diffey returns to the auto racing television booth this weekend, but with a different series.
Diffey joins NBC’s NASCAR Cup Series coverage for Saturday night’s Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway. He will call every remaining race this season, which concludes Nov. 10 in Phoenix.
Diffey called track and field at the 2024 Paris Olympics after leaving the IndyCar Series announcing team, which he had been with for the six years the network has aired IndyCar races.

IndyCar’s contract with NBC expires after this season, and the series will be shown on Fox starting in 2025.
