The Rose Bowl announced it will be one of the 12 stadiums to host the FIFA Club World Cup in 2025.
FIFA confirmed the other 11 United States stadiums will include Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta), Bank of America Stadium (Charlotte), TQL Stadium (Cincinnati), Hard Rock Stadium (Miami), GEODIS Park (Nashville), Camping World Stadium (Orlando), Inter&Co Stadium (Orlando), Lincoln Financial Field (Philadelphia), Lumen Field (Seattle), Audi Field (Washington, D.C.) and MetLife Stadium (New Jersey).
The tournament will kick off on Sunday, June 15, 2025, and will end on July 14 in New Jersey where the FIFA Club World Champions will be crowned.
Over a year later, New Jersey will host the FIFA World Cup 26 final.
“Football is the most popular sport on the planet, and in 2025 a new era for club football will kick off when FIFA stages the greatest, most inclusive and merit-based global club competition right here in the United States,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
The 32 teams to compete in the tournament will be confirmed after the draw in December.
“The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will feature 12 fantastic stadiums where a new chapter in football’s global history will be written by great players from the 32 best clubs in the world,” Infantino continued.
The Club World Cup match schedule will be published after the draw, but fans can still visit FIFA.com/tickets to register for tickets and hospitality information.
