🚨 Arsenal confirm Mikel Merino addition from Real Sociedad
Arsenal have confirmed their third signing of the summer, with EURO 2024 winner Mikel Merino joining the club from Real Sociedad.
The Spaniard, who scored the winning goal in the semi-final of the tournament, arrives in north London for a fee of €30m (£25m) to bolster Mikel Arteta's midfield options.

As is club policy, Arsenal have not disclosed the length of the contract he has signed.
He follows the arrivals of goalkeeper Tommy Setford from Ajax and Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna, with Setford set to join the youth set up at the Emirates Stadium.
Merino arrives back in the Premier League after six years with Real Sociedad, having spent a season on loan with Newcastle United in 2017/18.
