🚀 Redemption for Raúl Jiménez with stunning free-kick for Mexico
Bitter rivals Mexico and the United States locked horns once again in a storied head-to-head CONCACAF clash, and El Tri has struck first in stunning fashion.
After failing to bag a goal against the USMNT in his last ten appearances against the Stars and Stripes, Fulham striker Raúl Jiménez found redemption with a stunning free-kick goal in the 22nd minute.

After a serious head injury back in 2020 that called into question the entirety of his career, Jiménez has done well to bounce back at club and international level since his return.
His goal tonight is the 35th of his time with the national team, with some now quipping that Feyenoord Rotterdam hitman Santiago Giménez may have been displaced on the spot.
Did Santiago Giménez just lose his starting position right before our eyes?

Take a bow, Raúl!
