Three thrilling penalty shoot-outs saw Columbus Crew, Philadelphia Union and Colorado Rapids prevail alongside LAFC.

Philadelphia Union stun Mazatlán
The Union showed the true meaning of perseverance after beating the Liga MX side on penalties despite playing the entire second half down to 10 men.

The Rapids stifled 20 shots from the Mexican giants only to prevail in a 10-round shootout to stay alive.

Columbus Crew complete NYFC comeback
This all-MLS quarter-final saw the Crew fight back after conceding the fastest goal in Leagues Cup history to win on penalties.
